Investing in Our NHS

I come from a medical family and passionately support our NHS. Our NHS staff do incredible work. Record number of doctors, nurses and paramedics are being trained in Chelmsford. The first cohort of new doctors have graduated from Anglia Ruskin University Medical School this summer. A new medical centre will be opening soon in Beaulieu soon, supporting the people of North Chelmsford.

Supporting World Ovarian Day

The charity Ovarian Cancer Action handed out 33,000 white roses with symptoms cards attached on World Ovarian Cancer Day to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and its symptoms, a disease that kills a woman in the UK every two hours.

Success as Glucose Monitors available in Mid Essex

Over the past two years I have been contacted by a number of Chelmsford constituents with diabetes wanting to be able to use state of the art continuous glucose monitors “FreeStyle Libre Monitors”.   I have been supporting this campaign.
