I am delighted that FOUR Chelmsford schools are to benefit from the £450 million of government funding to improve school buildings. This fund is going to help upgrade to 859 schools and colleges nationwide. In Chelmsford 6 projects are receiving funding, across 4 schools.
Well done to Perryfields Junior School, Newlands Spring Primary & Nursery School, Great Baddow High School and King Edward VI Grammar School. They will all be receiving funding for building upgrades. This will help to give students the facilities they need to learn the skills that they need for the future as we grow the economy.
These schools join many other Chelmsford schools who have received grants in previous rounds.
Chelmsford’s students deserve first-class educational facilities. It is very exciting that this funding is being provided by the Government to our schools.
