Letter to Chancellor in Support of School Funding

In November, I wrote to all the Heads of Chelmsford Schools as I understand that we are in very challenging times and that there are many additional pressures facing schools.

Before the recent Autumn Statement, I was one of 28 Conservative MPs who wrote to the Chancellor urging him to increase school funding. I have attached a copy of the letter here.

I am very pleased that it was confirmed in the Autumn Statement that schools as well as the NHS will receive additional funding.
