People in Chelmsford often talk to me about GP appointments and the challenges there can be when trying to get through to the GP early in the morning. I know a number of our GPs surgeries have been working to improve this.
The Government has announced new plans to support GPs with better technology and phone systems, enable pharmacists to prescribe treatments for common conditions and delivering more appointments and more staff.
