Great news that Essex County Council are running 21,600 summer club activities sessions across Essex this summer for children across the county. They are also packing up 2,500 kit bags of sports equipment for disadvantaged and vulnerable children. I enjoyed catching up with Cllr Louise McKinlay who is leading the effort to make sure Essex children can have a happy, safe and healthy holiday this summer, despite the pandemic.
