As we move into the final weeks of COVID and Flu vaccination season it is very important that all those people that are eligible take up their COVID and Flu vaccinations ahead of the peak winter period.
You are eligible for a Flu vaccine if you are:
• Aged 50 or over (including those who will be 50 by 31st March 2023).
• In a clinically at-risk group (aged 6 months to 50).
• A pregnant woman.
• In long-stay residential care.
• Receive a carer’s allowance or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick.
• Living with someone who is more likely to get infections. For example, someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.
• Children aged 2 and 3 years on 31st August 2022
• Primary school aged children (reception year to year 6)
• A frontline health or social care worker
You are eligible for a COVID Autumn Booster Vaccine (at least 91 days after previous dose) if you are:
• Aged 50 or over.
• A pregnant woman.
• Aged 5 years or older and at high risk due to health condition or weakened immune system.
• Aged 16 years or older and lives with someone who has a weakened immune system.
• Aged 16 years or older and a carer (either paid or unpaid)
• A frontline health or social care worker
