It was good to join our local police team recently on a Sunday afternoon.
I observed them attending a road traffic accident and was very impressed by the calm and measured way they coordinated with multiple services including ambulance and highways teams, made sure the (one) casualty was being well cared for by the paramedics, reassured the public and made the road safe again.
