Spiking is awful, it is also a crime. But the current law is based on ancient legislation from Victorian times. At the end of November, I met with the new Home Secretary James Cleverly along with long-standing campaigner Richard Graham MP and Mims Davies MP to set out why we think the law should be updated and spiking should be a specific, named offence.
